Walter is the Director of Engineering for a small laser company in N.J. by day and Executive Pastor of Hopesprings by night.
He is passionate about seeing God’s people grow to maturity and enjoys making the message of God’s story really practical - don’t be surprised if you learn a little engineering along the way, and your kids come home from church with science projects. He insists he does not wear a pocket protector… only in church when he is trying to make a point…
Walter dreams about organic farming on a hill in Tuscany with his wife Terry, and their kids, Melody Jordan and Justus.
He is secretly addicted to planting more tomatoes than his older brother Bill…

Michael is the Lead Pastor of Hopesprings and a Staff Supervisor for a local Camp and Conference Center. He moved here with his wife Summer in September of 2007 from Iowa to enjoy the adventure that is Hopesprings.
Michael’s desire is for people to grow deeper in their relationship with God, and He loves using the Scripture as a means for fostering that deeper connection with God and the world around us. He is a self-confessed nerd and enjoys reading, watching movies, and listening to lots of different kinds of music. He has been known to brandish a mean light saber and is a frisbee junkie…it’s a Midwestern thing…
His desire is to help people develop deepening relationships with God and other people as they grow in their knowledge of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Michael is married to the love of his life Summer, and his perfect days are ones spent mostly with her.

Terry helps Walter keep all their plates spinning, and spends lots of time thinking about how to creatively communicate the story about the God who changes everything to wounded, hurting people. As our resident counselor, she just spent the last 3 years at Biblical Theological Seminary reading lots of books by ancient dead guys and a few living ones too…
Terry dreams about living in some foreign city, writing poetry in a corner cafe and spending weekends cooking Italian dishes with tomatoes and parmesan cheese on that farm in Tuscany… a girl can dream can’t she…
She loves worshipping on the guitar and anything Chris Tomlin sings…

Paul DiQuattro

Paul is the Program Manager of a local Christian Conference Center by day. He has a passion to see people engaged in worship through song, rocking the drums and singing on our music team. Paul also serves as our Money Man, wearing the Treasurer hat and payin’ the bills.
Paul loves spending time with his amazing wife Rachel and their adorable son Caleb. He enjoys golf, hanging at the beach, and working out. Paul has a desire to run a gym for the community out of Hopespring’s 9 North Main building.
Being in the hospitality business, people are very important. Paul enjoys spending time with friends and family and thinks books and movies are anti-social (but we forgive him).
Paul’s greatest accomplishment was finishing the entire Bible…you know…because he does not like books.

Karl Stopfer
Vice Chairman of the Hopesprings Board

Karl is an industrial mechanic by night and rockin’ guitar player and teacher by day. He rocks out on our music team and is the Vice Chairman of the Hopesprings Board.
True musicianship gets him excited! Karl dreams of touring the world playing his heart out for God and bringing others into authentic worship! He can often be found hiding out in his music room learning new music, practicing old favorites and writing.
Karl loves his family, General Tso’s chicken and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Pam Stopfer

Pam maintains the office at Hopesprings and enjoys the details of the job! She loves being married to Karl and enjoys home schooling their 4 children, Kameron, Kaity, Kassidy and Kristen. Often times you can find them hiking, biking or going to the beach together.
She has discovered a passion for photography and dreams of combining this passion with her degree in Marketing to start her own business! Some of her favorite things to do include graphic design, decorating, playing volleyball and reading. Creative outlets are her favorite!
Pam is truly passionate about being purposeful and useful to God and seeing others use their gifts as well. When asked what her favorite thing about Hopesprings was she said she really loves the freedom to be creative and the passion at Hopesprings for reaching out to others.
