Pam grew up in Mt Bethel, PA & Karl grew up in Bangor, PA not far from one another, yet they were from two totally different worlds. She was a farm girl and he was a town kid. They met in middle school, began dating in high school, and married after graduating from college. They have been married for 28 years and have 4 amazing kids, Kameron, Kaity, Kassi, and Kristen. Often times you will find them hiking, playing board games, or going to the beach together. Life is always an adventure!
Karl went to college for Music and enjoys leading the worship team on Sunday mornings. If you enjoy talking about music theory, he's your guy. On a daily basis you can find him with his guitar in hand learning new music, practicing scales, and refining his craft. Karl lives by the quote, "A day without learning is a day wasted."
Pam enjoys photography, graphic design, and basically anything creative that gets her juices flowing. She is passionate about God and seeing people connect with Him. Her favorite thing about Hopesprings is that it's a place for everyone.
Walter is the Director of Engineering for a small laser company in N.J. by day and Executive Pastor of Hopesprings by night. He is passionate about seeing God’s people grow to maturity, and is famous as far away as Denmark for his amazing BBQ ribs. Walter loves to golf and is secretly addicted to planting more tomatoes than his older brother Bill.
Terry stays awake at night thinking about how to creatively communicate the story of The God Who Changes Everything to wounded, hurting people. As our resident counselor, she spent 3 years at Biblical Theological Seminary reading lots of books by ancient dead guys. She is a self proclaimed read-a-holic and if pressed will tell you that reading is her super power.
She can hardly believe she gets to dream God- sized- dreams with the amazing folks at Hopesprings and cheer us on as we plot kindness, and spread seeds of God’s mercy and justice, locally and globally.
Walter and Terry have been married for 28 years. They have three grown kids: Melody, Jordan, and Justus, two dogs: Sam, the Golden-doodle, their foster pup, Snoop the Yorkie, and Mr. Andersen, the king of stray cats. And usually a few stray kids here and there…
They all live together on a farm in Mt Bethel, PA.
